Glow in the dark materials carry phosphors that absorb light in the visible and ultra violet wavelengths and then re-emit visible light, or a "glow". Not only are they fun, they can also play an important role in increasing visibility when it gets dark

The current law bans the use of e-scooters on UK roads & pavements - they should only be ridden on private property (with the land owner's permission). However the Department of Transport are running trials around the UK to explore the legalisation.
